of the various hormones secreted by each endocrine gland, the involvement
of the nervous system and the endocrine system in a 'fight or flight' situation
as well as the similarities and differences between the nervous system and
the endocrine system.
In 12.7, I discuss the health issues related to the human endocrine system
namely, hypoglycaemia, diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus, hypothyroidism,
hyperthyroidism, gigantism, acromegaly and dwarfism.
