3.1 Structure of Plasma Membrane

Hello, everyone, It's been quite awhile since my last class.

I am back now and will start off this year's session with Chapter 3 as

many of you would have completed Chapters 1 and 2 already.

In this lesson, I explain the structure of the plasma membrane,

the characteristics and function of the phospholipid bilayer, channel protein,

carrier protein, cholesterol, glycolipid and glycoprotein molecules in

the membrane.

Lastly, I discuss the definition of selective permeability of the plasma membrane.
