In this lesson, I explain the mechanism of heartbeat, which is initiated by
the pacemaker known as Sinoatrial (SA) Node, the cause of the 'lub-dub' sound
of the heart, the flow of blood back to the heart through the veins and
the occurrence of varicose veins in some people.
In 10.4, I explain the necessity and mechanism of blood clotting and
the health issues related to blood clotting; specifically, haemophilia,
thrombosis and embolism.
